
Kuntanase (Ash), May 16, GNA – Assembly members in the Bosomtwe District were on Tuesday presented with motor bikes at a ceremony at Kuntanase.
Mr Edward Nti-Berko, the District Chief Executive, said the supply of the bikes was part of the government's “Better Ghana Agenda” and repeated their resolve to strengthen the local governance system.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Edward Osei, the District Commander, asked the recipients to secure riding licenses and wear appropriate gear including crash helmets when riding the bikes.
They should also abide by road traffic rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
Mr Joseph Assuming, the Presiding Member, said they were grateful to the government.
