Amansan Networks a non-profit making Advocacy organisation in UK has made a donation of £100 to the Remodelling the Early Mothers Initiative (REMI) in Ghana to support children set foot in the classroom for the first time in their lives.

Amansan Networks was founded through the Akwantuomunsem show hosted by Amansanboafo Osei-Frimpong on Radio Focus. The program aims to support Ghanaians in Europe with knowledge and resources necessary to tackle socio-economic challenges faced by Ghanaians in Europe and also seeks to support child education in Ghana.

“We are very pleased that we have been able to positively impact the lives of these children” says a member of the network, Mrs. Rita Acquaah who raised the funds. She is also the legal adviser on women and children on the Network.

The CEO of REMI Ms. Rhoda Doku also stated “this support means that at last, the first batch of ten (10) children between ages 5 and 12 years being supported by REMI will set foot in a classroom for the first time”.
