
Accra, May 15, GNA - Tigo Ghana has launched a new voice based entertainment product, the Tigo Voice Chat Service, an interactive service that grants subscribers the opportunity to interact vocally in chat rooms.
A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday by Grace Boateng of Brands Communication Category, Consumer Department, Tigo, the new Tigo Voice Chat offers subscribers the option to choose from a variety of chat rooms ranging from love and romance, friendship, business and jobs.
Subscribers select a chat room based on their unique preferences and enjoy the thrilling experience of interacting at the with over three million Tigo subscribers nationwide at the same time.
The product is accessible by both postpaid and prepaid subscribers, the statement said adding “…not only is it very easy to use, but it's affordable and convenient.”
To access the Voice Chat platform, subscribers have to dial 616 and follow the voice prompts.
“Socialization and Networking has become inevitable in our human life and Tigo wants to give its subscribers the opportunity to network, engage in lively social discussions and find jobs in these chat rooms on their mobile phones,” Tigo Head of Marketing Services, Tenu Awoonor said.
He said the product is an addition to Tigo's exciting array of services namely Tigo Family Care Insurance, Tigo Cash, Tigo Adanfo and more. “These are services that give our customers value for their money.”
The statement assured subscribers that Tigo would continue to provide new products and services with top-notch quality to meet their growing demands and needs.
