The Takoradi branch of the Polytechnic Teachers Association of Ghana is accusing the Fair Wages and Salary Commission of deliberate plot to delay payment of the Single Spine Salary Structure.
The lecturers want the Commission to pay them the SSSS by the end of May as promisedor they withdraw their services.
One of the lecturers Michael Appiah told Joy News stakeholders must ensure POTAG gets its fair share of the SSSS.
“Our message is simple. We recognize the efforts of the FWSC, all stakeholders, government as well. But the fact is that we have just realize something the Fair wages is doing and we think it is a deliberate systematic calculated attempt just to delay the payment by the end of May as they promised and that is why we want to impress upon all stakeholders to as much as possible make sure POTAG gets its fair share of the SSSS by the end of May,” he said.
