Bawumia Arrives To Rousing Welcome
The 2008 vice presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party arrived in Ghana to a rousing welcome by supporters of the party, Tuesday.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia arrived at the Kotoka International Airport at approximately 8:15 pm on a British Airways flight.
Hundreds of supporters clad in party colours were in jubilant mood showering praises on a man they expect to be officially confirmed as vice presidential candidate of the NPP.
Bawumia told Joy News he was happy to be home and thanked the supporters for their support.
He returns to the country after sojourns at the University of British Columbia in Canada, Oxford University in England and Zimbabwe as the African Development Banks Country Representative.
