
Suhum, May 03, GNA-Ama Adorkor Dartey, a 13-year old pupil of St Mary Preparatory School at Suhum, died instantly when she was struck by lightning during a heavy down pour at Mfranta near Suhum at the weekend.
According to an eye witness, Mr Emmanuel Odei, March 02 the deceased alighted at Mfranta Junction on her way to the town when she was suddenly struck to death by lightning.
He said the deceased was staying with the sister at Suhum where she attended the St Mary Preparatory School but she normally spent her weekends with her family at Mfranta.
She had since been buried after a postmortem at the Suhum Government Hospital.
