'Practice Entrepreneurship'
Graduands of rLG Communications Limited, who underwent a six-month training course, have been urged to use their entrepreneurial skills to improve their lives .
About 700 youth, who recently graduated from rLG Institute in Accra, at an event organized in collaboration with the National Youth Employment Programme (NYEP), were asked to actively embrace entrepreneurship if they want their economic situations to improve.
Clarence Amenya, National Sales Manager of rLG Communications, who gave the advice in a speech, said all young people have the ability to transform themselves economically, particularly given the knowledge they were exposed to during training.
Mr Amenya further urged the youth to practice good salesmanship to consummate their entrepreneurial ambitions.
He said most rich men started life from a humble beginning as entrepreneurs but were able to become successful with determination.
'Learn how you can start living successfully as an entrepreneur. Before you go to bed, you should first examine what you want to do and how you want to go about it.'
Apart from rLG training the youth to become entrepreneurs, the company is engaging more people by providing them with free products which they would sell and take a commission.
Meanwhile, rLG has stated that it would renew its contract with all young people who would work hard and show loyalty.
Selasi Attipoe Fittz, Deputy National Coordinator, NYEP, speaking in an interview with DAILY GUIDE , said 15,000 youth were being trained by rLG and NYEP across Ghana as part of government's effort to support the youth to become entrepreneurs.
