Registration In Some Tema Centres - Smooth On Day One

A total of 293 people were registered at four polling stations in Tema, at the close of the first day of the biometric Voter Registration Exercise on Saturday.

The registration centres (polling stations), visited by the GNA, were Padmore Street Number Two (80), Padmore Street Number Two Primary ‘3’ (69), Padmore Street Number One Centre One ‘B’ (79) and Twedaase JHS Number One (65).

Officials of the Electoral Commission at the four centres told the GNA that the exercise went on smoothly.

When the GNA visited some centres on Sunday, the second day of the exercise, queues formed were not as long as those on the first day, and registration was proceeding smoothly.
