Koforidua, March 20, GNA - Mr Frank Annor Dompreh, Eastern Regional Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, (NPP), on Tuesday appealed to Ghanaians not to renew the mandate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Government in the December polls.

He said it was a “blessing in disguise” that the NPP lost the 2008 Elections because it had afforded the electorate a big opportunity to assess both the administrations of Former President John Agyekum Kufuor and President John Evans Atta Mills.

“I want to take this opportunity to appeal to all Ghanaians not to give the NDC another chance because they have not shown any good leadership qualities since they assumed office,” he said.

Mr Annor -Dompreh was addressing a meeting of the All Nations University College Branch of the Tertiary Education Students Confederacy (TESCON), of the NPP in Koforidua on Tuesday.

He alleged that the NDC Government since assuming office had misused the loans it had received for development projects thus stalling the development of the nation.

Mr Annor-Dompreh said for that matter, the NDC Government must be voted out of office come December and replaced by the NPP to continue with their good policies and programmes.

He said corruption had engulfed the President Mills-led Administration while Ghanaians continued to suffer.

Mr Dompreh lauded the Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on his free Senior High School Policy and urged the electorate to vote massively for the NPP in order to take away the burden of paying huge school fees.

He said the free SHS policy being propagated by Nana Akufo-Addo was achievable and that the attack by the NDC on the policy was a mere propaganda to throw dust into the eyes of Ghanaians.

“I want to urge Ghanaians not to listen to the NDC propaganda machinery and rally behind the NPP to come to power to implement the policy,” he maintained.

Dr Samuel Yaw Annor, Eastern Regional Chairman of the NPP, said it was not true that the President Mills Administration had for the past three years undertaken more development projects than that of Former President Kufuor in eight years.

Dr Annor said the NDC Government had not been able to implement any single sustainable policy since 2009 and added that most of the projects they had completed and taken credit for were started by the Former Administration.

He said if Ghanaians make a mistake and retain the NDC in power in the forthcoming general election, they should not blame anybody for their suffering and hardships.

Dr Mark Assibey-Yeboah, New Juaben South Parliamentary Candidate of the NPP, appealed to all TESCON members nationwide to embark on door- to- door campaigns to convince the electorate to vote for the party.
