OUR FATHER'S HOUSE GHANA MINISTRIES SUPPORTS UKRAINIAN RAPE VICTIM

19.03.2012 LISTEN
By Our Father's House Ghana Ministries

Our Father's House founder Amanda Clinton who appeared in last week's The One Show about kingdom impact has given her support for Ukrainian rape victim Oksana Makar. Oksana is a 19 year old Ukrainian woman who was gang raped, left for dead in a ditch, whose body was left badly burnt and her legs and arm amputated as a result of the attack against her life.

The three accused perpetrators have been released by the Ukrainian government without charges being brought against them because of their families connections to the government. Two of the suspects were Maxim Prisyjnikov, 23, the son of the regional administrator, and Artyon Pogosyan, 21, the son of the regional prosecutor. Naked campaigners in Ukraine led protests over the sloppy nature of the police investigation and the perceived leniency with which the suspects have been treated.

A local ministry in Ghana is supporting Oksana's campaign for justice to be done in this case because as Pastor Amanda states 'in supporting an important issue that has not reached widespread national coverage in English speaking countries, we can act globally and ensure kingdom impact is a reality in the world because small movements throughout the world create ripple effects that can impact God's kingdom of justice. We may not have been their when Oksana was going through this horrific attack or been capable of helping her but we can help her now as global citizens by having compassion for our fellow woman in our support.

Fellow Ghanaians can support this global campaign to find justice for Oksana by taking 30 seconds to sign this online petition to the President of Ukraine for justice to be done in her case which can be found on this webpage
