THE MANAGEMENT of Spinal Clinics Limited has extended its service to Tema with the aim of boosting ultimate health and educating people on the importance of chiropractic care.

The company focuses on the essence of spinal care and the impact the spine has on the rest of the body.

The opening of Tema Spinal Clinic brings the number of clinics set up by the company to four since its inception six years ago.

The others are in Tamale, Bolgatanga and Accra while the Tema Clinic which used to be at the Nungua barrier has now been moved to Tema.

At a ceremony to open the clinic in Tema, CEO, Dr. Bryan L. Cox called on government to reduce the import duty on equipment brought to Ghana for use by chiropractics.

The Spinal Clinic, he said has through its Chiropractic Around the World Project educated millions of people through the media about the importance of keeping a healthy spine.

On the company's future, Dr Cox noted that land has been secured for the establishment of a Chiropractic College in line with its bid to touch the lives of thousands of people 'one spine at a time.' The school is expected to serve the whole of West Africa.

The clinic's aim is to provide the best chiropractic care to the masses with 'not only the best hands-on care but also the latest in chiropractic technology to help alleviate symptoms quicker and help hold adjustments longer,' he said.

Dr Cox announced he had written a book for children expected to get the younger generation to acquire more understanding about the importance of the spine.

The handy pocket sized book is designed for everyone, especially people on the go who do not have time to read large books.

Titled 'Love Your Spine,' it has questions and answers that will help induce readers to think about spinal health.

Dr Cox observed that the Spinal Clinic has since its existence succeeded in deepening lay people's understanding of chiropractic care and the importance of the spine.

'At one time, only the rich understood the importance of the spine and experienced the benefits of chiropractic but now many people are seeing its benefits.'
