POTAG leaders demand striking teachers' return
National executives of the Polytechnic Teachers Association of Ghana have directed striking teachers to return to work immediately.
The teachers in Kumasi, Sunyani and Takoradi have so far ignored earlier orders to call off the action they started two weeks ago. The Labour Commission has however now given POTAG and the Fair Wages Commission two weeks to address the teachers' concerns about migration onto the new pay policy.
But the National President of POTAG, Francis Atintono says his colleagues now have to return to the classroom.
