Court sets May 9 for ruling on Jake v Ablakwa, Omane Boama case

Ablakwa is a Deputy Minister for Information

An Accra Fast Track High Court has set May 9 for its ruling on the case brought against the chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey by two deputy ministers in the Mills administration.

Deputy Science and Technology Minister Dr Edward Omane Boamah and Deputy Information Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa are challenging the propriety of the NPP chairman's attempt to buy a state bungalow in which he lived as a government appointee.

The case has been running since 2008.
