The Springboard 2012 roadshow took off successfully in Kumasi Saturday at the Calvary Charismatic Church (CCC) with speakers like Albert and Comfort Ocran, Ace Ankomah, Mike Henaku , Dr. Esi Ansah among others sharing their experiences with the large audience that thronged the venue to participate in the show.
One of the major highlights of this year's show was the power mentoring session where participants had ten minutes with the resource persons.
In an earlier interview with focus fm's Kwame Poku (DJ Scientific), Mr. Albert Ocran, CEO of Legacy and Legacy, stated that listening to experienced people speak will save people a lot of mistakes and consequently time and money.
Mr. Albert Ocran, agreed that the issue of unemployment remains a major challenge to the Ghanaian youth and added that knowledge is readily available to help serious minded individuals build capacity and free themselves of mediocrity, citing the internet as one major source of such knowledge.
He says Ghanaians must think globally, pursue excellence and avoid mediocrity at all costs.
“Let's stop living tentatively, he said”.
Dr. Esi Ansah, a renowned academic, who was also at the studios of focus fm, emphasized the need for continuous self assessment.
She encouraged people to take advantage of opportunities that the Springboard Roadshow as well as other support platforms provides.
