The Ebenezer Presbyterian Church of Woodbridge on Saturday, February 12, 2012 inaugurated their singing band group with a special ceremony that brought together Presbyterian Church members from near and afar. Delivering the message of the day, Rev. Emmanuel Nkrumah of the Wesley Methodist Church who was the guest speaker entreated the members of the Church to join the various auxiliary fellowships in the ministry in order to play meaningful roles in the body of Christ. He also charged the Presbyterian congregation to support the ministry financially to sustain the work of God. Rev. Yaw Nkansah who is the superintendent minister was very grateful to God that the singing band group has been formed and congratulated the leaders for the dedication and exemplary effort.

The event was chaired by Nana Bonti Marfo, a sub chief from Agogo traditional area of Ashanti region of Ghana and Nana Amakye, also a newly installed chief from Ghana. Mr. Eric Kumah, a leader in the Church assured all members that their effort at supporting the ministry would not be in vain since he is a living testimony of how much he has been blessed through his efforts.

The newly formed singing band group was supported by the Victory singers of the Church and the singing band group from Christ the King Presbyterian Church from Maryland under the leadership of Rev. Mark Asiedu Frimpong.
