Ghanaian youths asked to resist NDC's propaganda

The Eastern Regional Youth Organiser of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Frank Annor Dompreh has called on the country's youth to resist the deception and propaganda being peddled by the ruling NDC government.

Speaking on Multi TV's political talk show, Minority Caucus, Mr. Dompreh also accused the Mills-led administration of creating a false impression that governance is all about Christianity.

Believing that there is deep seated hopelessness in the country, Mr. Dompreh urged all to put aside their differences and speak to the issues affecting them.

He noted that the time has come for the country's youth to rise up against the NDC's deception and demand answers from the President on crimes being committed under his watch to which he has failed to provide the right answers.

A member of the NPP's Northern Regional Communications team, Haruna Eliasu, who was also on the show called for credit to be given to governments which initiate projects which are completed by their successive government.

Citing the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) as an example, Mr. Eliasu claimed the NPP's flag bearer originally mooted the idea for the creation of an authority like SADA adding that the NDC subsequently stole the idea but has so far failed to successfully implement the policy.

According to the NPP youths, they are not so interested in which government started which project because they believe governance is about continuity but they expect that acknowledgment will be duly given to governments which start a project, a habit they lament the NDC has failed to develop so far and instead are taking credit for almost all the projects in the country, including those constructed under the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA).

Haruna Eliasu however noted that most of the schemes established under the Kuffuor administration such as the NHIS and the school feeding programme are all at the verge of collapse under the Mills administration.

The youth representatives thus called on all Ghanaians to make the right choice between the progress Nana Addo is offering and the retrogression the NDC government is offering and save the country from an incompetent government.
