The Free Woyome Campaign led by a journalist, David Tamakloe, failed to expose government officials allegedly working feverishly behind the scenes to persecute the embattled NDC financier Alfred Woyome.

Mr. Woyome has been charged and currently in remand for conspiracy to commit crime, defrauding by false pretense and corrupting public officials in the infamous GhC58 million judgment debt scandal.

Three others have also been charged – the Chief State Attorney of Ghana, Samuel Nerquaye-Tetteh and his wife alongside the legal director at the Ministry of Finance, Paul Asimenu.

Following his arrest and subsequent arraignment in court, the Tamakloe-led group vowed to strip all government officials who are behind Woyome's prosecution naked at a press conference on Tuesday, but it ended up to be a 'no show'.

The group, which has alleged that the presence of the philanthropist in the party makes others feel uncomfortable, fell short to mention a single name at a packed press conference on Tuesday.

The anxious journalists were disappointed with the majority visibly angry.
