
Dormaa-Ahenkro (B/A), Jan. 31 GNA – Mr Bernard Kwabena Adams, Operations Supervisor of Zoomlion Company Limited in Dormaa Municipality has been honoured as the companie's most hardworking person in Brong Ahafo Region for the year 2011.
Mr Baah Abdullai Ismaila was also honoured as the best tri-cycle supervisor in the region for the same period.
For their prizes they received certificates of honour and assorted gifts presented by Mr Kofi Sekyere Boateng, Brong-Ahafo Regional Manager of the company at an end-of-year get-together in Sunyani.
The Regional Manager urged the company and all other institutions connected with the collection and management of waste not to rest on their oars but to step up operations to ensure a clean environment.
He said a clean environment is not only good but is also a key pre-requisite for good health as it wards off all manner of diseases.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Dormaa-Ahenkro, the award winners expressed gratitude for their prizes and said it would spur them on to work harder in the ensuing years.
