COACH YUSSIF Abubakar has been appointed the new Head Coach of struggling Wassaman United.
He takes over from coach Herbert Addo who was given the sack by management of the troubled club.
Reports said Coach Addo was sacked by Wassaman management who were not happy about his performance in the league.
Coach Abubakar, who prior to his new appointment was the deputy trainer of Meadeama SC, confirmed his appointment.
He said the task ahead was very tough but he was confident he would rescue Wassaman from relegation.
Meanwhile, DAILY GUIDE SPORTS has learnt that Medeama are determined to help Wassaman avoid relegation which now stares them in the face.
In line with this, Medeama management was said to have agreed to transfer eight players to Wassaman for the second round.
