Marketing Support Gives to 3 Organisations

Marketing Support Consultancy Limited, an independent, full service business intelligence and marketing research firm, has donated cash and items worth GH¢3,500 to three organizations in Accra.

The donations, made to the Chosen Generation Rehabilitation Centre, Dzorwulu Special School and the Accra Psychiatric Hospital, were in support of the activities of the three organizations.

Berlinda Acheampong, Administrative Manager of the company, said during the presentation of the items to the organizations that the company, as part of its activities to run off a successful year, decided to give back to the society in which they operated.

'As part of our corporate social responsibility, we deem it fit to give to these organizations which are working to support our society,' she said.

Acheampong said even though the donation represented the widows might of the company, she believed it would go a long way in facilitating the activities of the organizations.

'We know this is not too much but we hope the little we have given will help you in your plans towards the Christmas celebrations,' she noted.

Veronica Sackey, Principal of Dzorwulu Special School, and Nsiah Anyetei, Deputy Director of nursing services at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital who received the items on behalf of the organizations, expressed their profound appreciation to Marketing Support Consultancy limited.

'We are so happy. I must say that am very excited this morning to see such people here coming to the level of the mentally challenged children and persons and even to the extent of giving a helping hand to build a useful society,' Sackey said.

She said not everybody or company would like to come to the special school or the psychiatric hospital because of the stigma attached to the facilities, adding that when organizations like Marketing Support Consultancy limited donated to appreciate their efforts, ' we appreciate it because we know they are coming to help us.'
