Nkroful (W/R), Dec. 23, GNA - The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ellembelle, Mr. Daniel K.Eshun, has urged staff from the central and decentralised departments of the district Assembly to work harder to spearhead the development of their areas.
He said the untiring efforts of workers had positioned the Assembly to chalk successes appealed to them to continue the hard work for more development in the area.
Mr. Eshun said this when he chaired an end-of-year durbar for staff members.
He said the revenue situation of the Assembly was not the best and appealed to staff to assist the revenue officers to collect more revenue for the assembly.
Mr. Eshun proposed for the establishment of a welfare association to assist staff in times of need.
The District Co-ordinating Director, Mr. Joseph K. Armah, appealed to staff not to meddle in active politics during the electioneering campaign next year.
