Prices of tomato in the Takoradi and Kumasi Central markets dipped by 40% (2.00 to 1.20), 11% (0.87 to 0.77) in wholesale trading and 33% (3.00 to 2.00), (1.25 to 1.00) at the retail trading level respectively. Contrary to this development, in the Techiman and Hohoe markets prices went up by 43% (0.42 to 0.60), 29% (1.22 to 1.55) at the wholesale trading level respectively and 31% (0.59 to 0.77), 21% (1.65 to 2.00) at the retail level.
