One person has been reported dead and another sustained serious injuries when a telecom mast they were working on fell, Monday morning at Mpohor in the Western Region.
The men were part of a group of six people working to dismantle the old mast said to be owned by telecom giants, MTN.
Joy News Western Region correspondent Kweku Owusu Peprah reported the mast is about 150 meters long and fell on a nearby hotel, called the Adom Hill view hotel.
A security man at the scene of the accident suspected strong winds aided by the weak masts led to the disaster.
Police have visited the scene of the accident and have begun investigations.
