Tema, Oct. 30, GNA - Mr Emmanuel Adzei Anang, Member of the Counsel of State, had cautioned Christians to be disciplined and contribute to national development.
He said discipline should start from the home and religious organisations and expressed his displeasure about indiscipline, especially among drivers on the roads.
Mr Anang gave the warning when he addressed congregation of the Prince of Peace Presbyterian Church at Community Two in Tema, at the launch of the Church's Golden Jubilee celebration.
He blamed the dilapidated nature of Tema on the indiscriminate location of structures by squatters and encroachers, which had led to slums in the city.
Reverend Dr. Godwin Nii Noi Odonkor, Chairperson of the Ga Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, who launched the anniversary, charged Christians to be humble in all their dealings.
He said the frequent conflicts and instability in some countries as well as among churches were due to the lack of humility on the part of the people.
Rev. Odonkor caught the sod for the commencement of work on the Jubilee Complex at the church premises, which if completed would serve as Campus for the Tema Presbyterian University College, and also as a school complex from Preparatory to the Senior High School level.
