THE CROWDING THOUGHTS OF TOMORROW

THE CROWDING THOUGHTS OF TOMORROW
20.10.2011 LISTEN

The crowding thoughts of tomorrow
Make me sick
Though I prefer to be left
In my own folly
To insulate the pains of today
But they will not stop
Even a while
To pose and stoop
Because I have been born
Because I have become of a man
Because I am overtly declared
A wanted entity
They pose and prick
And in the thin mirrored air
I see them pass gently by
Some smiling
Some glaring
Some firing
Some defying
I recall, not of too long
I was alone, only one
I became two, only two
We drop one, two, three
And with such exhaustive hope
More being awaited
But the thoughts pose and prick
Feeding
Education
Security
Power
These crowing thoughts of tomorrow
Make me remember
Though gone never to recall
When without stress I lay
Happy, relaxed, relieved
Between the two soft palms
Of she who loves me most of humans
Even as though beyond thirty five
Could this man-less joy remain
Each moment I behold her
Or perceive the soft sweet tone
Nevermore, nevermore!
Tomorrow must come and go
For another tomorrow
Until I sleep last
