Dear IGP,
It is shameful, if not utterly disgusting, to sit and watch your men (8 cops) to be arrested over stupid deputy minister's allegation of insults. The main theme of over speeding (whether over speeding or not) has been pushed aside and rather giving insults a priority, assuming the allegation was true. Listen to CNN and other western media and see how ordinary citizens shower insults at PRESIDENT OBAMA openly; broad day light. How is democracy defined in Ghana? If you read anywhere democracy doesn't include insults then please re-read the fine print in democracy...here is the model:
Democracy - Insults (criticism) = Autocracy… Did you know that with all due respect!
Shame on IGP! Shame on police hierarchy for allowing yourselves to be bullied by a common deputy minister!! I wouldn't be surprised the deputy minister was carrying cocaine at the time he was pulled over and for the fear of search or exposure so he made this up. My advice to you Mr. IGP is that don't focus on doing things right but instead do the right thing. Figure out the difference between my thin advice. God bless the Police Administration.
