A former minister for water resources works and housing and one time Northern regional minister, Alhaji Abubakar Saddique Boniface has called on muslim Youth to eschew the culture of accepting to be used by politicians and other interest groups to foment troubles geared towards the fulfilment of the aspirations of such persons but are abandoned immediately those persons achieve their motives.
The former minister made the statement during an Eid-ul- fitr party he organised for Muslim Youth in Accra at his private residence. Speaking at the ceremony Alhaji Saddique Boniface said: “After a month of fasting it was time to show sincere love and care to the Youth who are the bedrock of any society”
“I have been hosting the Youth to parties every Eid-ul- Fitr festival and this particular party was in line with fulfilling an annual ritual” he added.
Some of the Youth who spoke during the party commended Alhaji Saddique Boniface hugely for the love and care he has always shown to the cause of the Youth and prayed that, God willcontinue to help him to enable him continue with his good works.
Neighbours of the former minister said: he was a first class gentleman and kind and was full of praises for him for organising such a programme for the Youth
