THE POWER OF PEACE
Peace is very special in the global community. The world needs peace. Peace has many faces. Orphans starving because of lach of food need food, shelter, and clothing. When they get this things peace will embrace them. The youth roaming in the streets of Africa need training, and job opportunities. When the youth are fully equipped and get employment they will enjoy true economic peace.
Violation of civil rights, and discrimination steal the peace of many people, especially politicians, and civil rights activists in countries where the freedom of the people is surpressed. Environmental pollution in a country brings many sicknesses such as cancer, and cause many people to die annually. This steals the peace of a nation.
Laziness, and lack of cleaning are another major weapons of sickness, and poverty, and this can steal the peace of many.
When a man who is responsible as head of the family do not unite his family, and let the fear of God, and discipline rule his house, peace runs away from that house. Patients must get sufficient medication to get well in order to get peace of having sound mind, and sound body.
In the spiritual realm the power of peace is astounding, and very real. Jesus, the King of Kings and the head of the church assures His followers to trust in the heavenly father, and to trust in Him also. At the same time He urges us to have a calm heart without any worries. He has prepared for us the way to eternal life. It only requires our willingness to believe, and our obedience in walking with God, and being doers of His word. Jesus assures all betievers that He alone can give us true peace.
