The Dagbon Consultative Congress has issued an ultimatum to Vice President Aliu Mahama, who also belongs to one of the gates in Dagbon to resolve the Dagbon crisis in thirty days or resign his position as the country’s Vice President. A press statement issued in Accra last week and signed by congress officials accused Vice President Mahama of having missed the opportunity to rise above suspicion by calling a meeting of Dagombas involving feuding parties with him as chairman to resolve the year old crisis in the area.
