Prayer, key to a successful Christian life- Pastor

Accra, June 29, GNA – Pastor Gideon Armah, Head Pastor of the Rehoboth Assemblies of God at West Fafraha, near Adenta, has urged Christians to be prayerful since it's the key to a successful Christian life.

He said Christians should look out and be vigilant to detect false prophets, whose prophecies were not based on the Bible.

Pastor Armah made the assertion at the celebration of the Youth Ministry Day of the church, on the theme; “Be filled with the Holy spirit.”

He said the right attitude towards spiritual growth was through devotion, spiritual mindedness and unity, added that, “the revival of the church is through fellowshipping with one another.”

Pastor Armah urged the youth to refrain from the practice of homosexuality and lesbianism, saying that, it was a form of social evil and also against the will of God.

The Head Pastor advised politicians to always endeavour to protect the peace and welfare of the citizenry.

He urged African leaders to go by the tenets of the African High Command and also avoid being manipulated by western forces.

The leader of the youth ministry, Brother Daniel Mensah said the youth in the church has taken upon themselves to work hard and evangelize to win more souls for the church.

He said the ministry, through the youth, has been able to support the church project from internally generated funds.
