
Nkoranza (B/A), June 10, GNA – A severe rainstorm that hit Kranka in the Nkoranza North District of the Brong Ahafo Region has ripped off the roofs of 20 buildings and displaced 250 residents.
Mr Oscar Osei, Assembly Member, told the Ghana News Agency at Nkoranza on telephone that some parts of the local Junior High School building had been affected.
He said the victims were staying temporarily with friends and relatives.
Mr Osei added that some electricity wires were affected plunging the community into darkness.
He called on the District NADMO office to arrange for relief items and incentives towards the rehabilitation of the affected victims.
