Prampram (GAR), April 29, GNA - The Prampram Traditional Council is to establish a land secretariat to document all stool and family lands under its jurisdiction.
Nene Tetteh Djan III said the secretariat was necessitated by the indiscriminate selling of stool and family lands by self-acclaimed family heads.
Nene Djan made this known at a press conference at Prampram in the Greater Accra Region on Friday.
He said the primary obligation of family heads was to protect family lands for posterity and cautioned those engaged in the act to put an end to it.
Nene Djan accused the Ghana Football Association (GFA) of failing to pay for the land used for the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram, adding that the two previous court rulings was in favour of the council.
"l have given the GFA the last chance to come for negotiations and by August if they do not come, l will sue them or advice myself," he said.
He said the land was given in the interest of the nation but the GFA has failed in their agreement.
