Accra , April 29, GNA - A book of condolence will be opened for Mr Sammy Okaitey, News Editor of Daily Graphic, who died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Good Friday after a short illness.
A statement signed on Friday in Accra by Mr Bright Blewu, General Secretary of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), said the book would be opened on Tuesday, May 3, when the first family meeting to plan the funeral would be held.
It said the book, which was being opened in conjunction with the GJA, would be laid for signing by members of the public from 1000-1500 hours at Okailey Tse We, opposite Attoh's Bar, off Independence Square , near Castle Traffic Light intersection.
The book would be transferred to the Ghana International Press Centre from May 4 May 9, from 1000-1600 each day for members of the media and the public.
The statement said the GJA national executive would call on the family of the late Okaitey on May 3.
