Kumasi , April 22, GNA - The Reverend Seth Kwaku Adofo, Primate of the Brotherhood Church , has urged Christians to provide the needed leadership to promote peace and calm tension in the society.

He said Christians should encourage all to have a place in their heart to forgive those who might wrong them and to be tolerant of one another.

Primate Adofo was delivering a Good Friday message at the Brotherhood Temple at South Suntreso in Kumasi .

He said it was important they eschewed divisive tendencies either in the home, family, church or community.

"Christ's death", he reminded them, was meant to reconcile mankind with God and said this should inspire all to live in total harmony and genuine reconciliation.

Primate Adofo said as the Christian Community celebrate the extraordinary sacrifice made by Christ for their salvation, they should use the occasion to renew their faith and accept to do what was right in the sight of God.

He called for intensification of the church's efforts at spreading the Gospel to salvage the society from evil.

He admonished Christians to work hard to support the economic development of the country.
