A youth group of the ruling National Democratic Congress in the Ashaiman Municipality is urging their party colleagues to hand over toilets they seized back to the district assembly.

The group known as the NDC Noble Youth of Ashaiman is worried the behaviour of the youth in the town could tarnish the image of the ruling party.

A spokesperson of the Noble Youth, Issah Mustapha, has said the group was concerned because the seized public toilets were being mismanaged.

Given that situation, he said the state was losing much needed revenue and residents who bore the brunt of the poorly managed toilets were disillusioned.

“We are advising them to hand it over to the assembly to renovate. If you come and see the nature of the toilets, its very, very appalling,” he stated.
