Kojokrom (W/R), Dec 20, GNA - The Assemblyman for Mpentensrew Electoral Area, Mr Phillip Bachino, has called on the people to retain him in power to ensure the progress of development programs being undertaken by him.

He said during his tenure the Electoral Area had benefited from a number of development projects some of which were done with his own resources and others with support from the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly.

Mr. Bachino said his tenure had provided street lights to most areas and constructed drainage at an area called "Parliament House" amongst others.

He said for the first time the Electoral Area had been able to build a football field and formed a football team which was currently playing in the Second Division.

"I am also collaborating with Rodnet and CHF (both NGOs) to construct a water reservoir and a standby pipe to provide potable water to the area," Mr Bachino added.

The District Assembly Elections is slated for December 28, this year.
