Volta Rice attracts patrons at Volta fair

Ho, Nov. 25, GNA - Volta Rice, produced by the Prairie Volta Limited at Aveyime in the Volta Region, has been attracting several patrons at the Volta Trade, Investment and Culture Fair which opened in Ho on Monday.

Mr Morrison Edem Essah, Sales Representative of Prairie Volta Limited, told the Ghana News Agency at the Company's stand said sales of the rice, especially the 5-kilo long-grain fragrant, has picked up from an initial slow start.

At the Kpandu Pottery producers stand, an assistant said many people have been admiring and showing interest in the variety of products at the stand.

She said many whites who have been calling at the stand were buying small souvenir pieces of pottery products in large quantities.
