Brew-Aidoo, Vetsch-Bempong for Dubai Classic

Carl Brew-Aidoo and Bea Vetsch-Bempong will take part in this year's  Dubai Amateur Golf tournament to be held at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai on October 28 and 29.

The pair earned their qualification following their exciting triumph at the two-day Infinity sponsored Achimota Masters, which ended at the Achimota Golf Course on Sunday.

Brew-Aidoo returned 143 net for the men's Masters title while Vetsch Bempong took the ladies version with the same score.S. Oddoye 144net (Men) and Sussie Abaloo Kumasah(ladies) were runner-ups.

Her Excellency, Ruchi Ghanashym, the Indian High Commissioner to Ghana presented the two winners with the prizes and praised Infinity for their successful partnership with Achimota Golf Club in giving the opportunity to the participants to exhibit their prowess saying, 'Golf indeed  keeps them healthy.'

Vincent Cofie, 150 gross beat F Akafo, 151 gross for the scratch prize, while Mona Myers-Lamptey 170 gross beat Margaret Owusu-Baah, 178gross in the ladies version.

Club captain Mike Aggrey in his welcome speech commended the sponsors for living up to their promise of sponsoring the 2nd edition of the tournament and more importantly the sponsorship of Hole 14.

He expressed the wish that the Infinity-Achimota partnership would blossom with time saying, 'This year's event has been a tremendous success  in the quality of playing and organization.'

Mr Arsheep Singh Chadha, MD, Mr Kanwal Bajwa, Executive Director, Nigeria and Mr Jasieev Singh Kandhari, Executive Director, Dubai, all of the Infinity Group took turns to present trophies to deserving winners.
