The Chief Executive of the London Borough of Hillindon, Dorian Leathan is in Ghana to witness the "Kwafie" festival of the Chiefs and people of the Dormaa Traditional Area. Mr Leathan’s arrival in the country follows a visit by the chief of Dormaa, Osagyefo Agyeman Badu to some European countries last year, during which he called on him in London.

It is also aimed at cementing good relations between Ghana, especially the people of Dormaa and Britain.

Mr Leathan presented items valued at 293.8 million cedis to the Dormaa Traditional Council. The items included 16 computers and accessories, assorted drugs, medical equipment and a public address system.

He was conducted round a tile and brick factory, which has been reactivated, by the Chiefs and people of Dormaa to reduce unemployment among the youth.
