NPP is battle ready for 2012 -Isaac Osei
MEMBER OF Parliament for Subin, Hon. Isaac Osei has indicated that the new Patriotic Party (NPP) is battle ready for the 2012 Elections.
He has, however, cautioned that the future belongs to those who prepare for it, and has advised the youth to get ready to be part of the shakers and movers to determine their future, by their active involvement in the bid to wrestle power.
“We have the responsibility to come back to power, but this should be done with a sense of purpose,” he told members of the K-Poly branch of the Tertiary Education Students Confederacy (TESCON) of the NPP as part of TESCON Week under the theme: "TESCON - Agent for Victory in 2012”.
The Subin MP, who has reiterated his bid to run for the flagbearership of the NPP, advised the youth to adopt every means within the law to wrestle power. He noted that victory would be there for the grabbing if the party mentored the youth and took them along as we all work towards getting the power.
The Subin legislator said considering the caliber of aspirants against those of the Atta Mills administration, the NPP team was capable of delivery and therefore urged the NPP to adopt adequacy of information to battle NDC's propaganda.
Mr. Osei reminded the youth that they had a binding responsibility to ensure that every qualified person registered with the National Identification System (NIS).
MP Osei said the NDC has offered nothing so far, describing claims of job creation by the Atta Mills government as employment by substitution and, therefore, had nothing to do with creating employment.
He said what we need are new ideas and a vision for the country in the next five or more years.
