Assembly Members asked to work hard to improve the people

Awutu Beraku (C/R), Jan 22, GNA - The Member of Parliament for Awutu-Senya, Mr David Nana Labie, has appealed to members of the district assembly to put behind them their political affiliations and contribute to the development of the area.

He reminded them of the non-partisan nature of the district assembly concept and said the assembly, being the highest decision making body in the district, should formulate policies and programmes that would help improve the living standard of the people.

Nana Labie said this when he met members of the Awutu-Senya District Assembly.

He said he would meet the Ministry of Education on the need to improve facilities and up grade the Senya and Obrachire Senior High schools.

Nana Labie appealed to them to educate their electorates on the importance of education and the need to send their children to school.
