Tema, Jan. 2, GNA - T.T. Brothers Limited, local representatives of Parlmalat Pure Joy of South Africa, on Friday, donated food items worth 10,000 Ghana cedis to the SOS Village in Tema.

The items were made up of 15 bags of rice, cartons of fruit juice and a quantity of cooking oil.

Mr Isaac Tetteh, Chief Executive Officer of the company who made the donation on behalf of the company said the corporate entity had signed a five-year agreement with the village to provide the organisation with gifts for every Christmas and Easter.

He said the company as part of its corporate social responsibility, would continue to assist the less-privilege in society to enable them feel at home.

Madam Esther Anagbonu, a mother of House Swiss Air of the Village, who received the items on behalf of the organisation, thanked the company for its kind gesture.

She expressed the hope that the donation would go a long way to improve the condition of the inmates.

Madam Agbonu called on other corporate bodies and institutions to come to the aid of the Village.
