Kumasi, Dec.25, GNA - The Reverend Seth Kwaku Adofo, Primate of the Brotherhood Church, has called on Christians to let the lessons of Christmas, the birth of Christ, reflect in their lives.

He said the birth of Christ should encourage them to avoid divisive and negative attitudes and work towards peace, love and unity for development.

Primate Adofo in a sermon at a special Christmas service in Kumasi on Friday, urged Christians to show compassion for the less privileged in society by supporting them with cash or in kind.

He cautioned the clergy and their followers to refrain from false religious doctrines and embrace the teachings of Christ to enable them to attain salvation.

Primate Adofo reminded Christians that Christ professed love, peace, unity and salvation and died on the cross to transform the lives of his followers and to reconcile them with God.

He said that: 'We must pray for forgiveness of our wrongs and ask Christ to come into our hearts as we celebrate the yuletide'.
