Assin Foso, Dec. 17, GNA - Mohammed Osuman, a driver from Assin foso, has been fined GH¢ 120.00 by Assin Foso District Magistrate court for committing motor offences.
He pleaded guilty to driving without license, failing to stop and failing to produce income tax and will go to prison for nine months in default.
Prosecuting Assistant Superintendent of Police Kwarteng Addai told the court that on September 09, the convict who was driving from Assin Nyankomase toward Assin Foso failed to stop when police signalled him to do so.
Police chased him but he got away. He was arrested the next day.
