THE CHIEF Executive Officer of the Kessben Group of Companies, Mr. Kwabena Kesse, has donated 20 computers to the Atwima Manhyia Methodist Primary School.

He also donated GH¢5,000 to the school, and promised to construct a three-classroom block for the school within six months.

The occasion was the 50th Anniversary celebration of the school last week Friday.

Professor Dr. Dr. Daniel Buor, Provost of the College of Arts and Sciences at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), as Guest of Honour, urged the general public to acquire knowledge, and use it to invent things which could be beneficial to society and the country as a whole.

According to him, Ghanaians should not emulate people from the western world who acquire knowledge, but use it negatively, by manufacturing Atom bombs, and involve themselves in pornography and other uncalled for activities.

Prof. Buor urged the pupils to fear God, if they want to acquire knowledge, since “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.”
