Goaso (B/A), Dec 10, GNA - Police at Goaso are looking for two women and a man, who together with a Cocoa Purchasing Clerk allegedly stole fermented cocoa beans belonging to Nana Agyemang Duah, Chief of New-Sawireso in Asunafo South Municipality of Brong Ahafo.
Ataa Abenaa, Adwoa Darkowaa and Kwasi Amoako are believed to be hiding in the Juabeso Bia District in the Western Region and the Police have intensified efforts to grab them.
Twenty-nine year old Kwame Frimpong, the purchasing clerk at Old Sawireso in the Western region has however been arrested and placed in police custody.
A Police source told the Ghana News Agency that on December 2 this year, Frimpong accompanied the three to the chief's farm at Boosie near New Sawireso and made away with a quantity of fermented cocoa beans.
The Police acting upon a tip off arrested Frimpong and retrieved some of the beans from him.
