Rajevac has arrived in Italy for talks

Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has arrived in Italy to hold talks with Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli over the possibility of him playing for the Black Stars at the 2010 World Cup.

 
The Serbian has hit the ground running in his quest augment the Black Stars ahead of next year's African Cup of Nations and World Cup.

 
Rajevac is expected to hold talks with the Italy-born youngster along with captain Stephen Appiah and Sulley Muntari.

 
He will visit Appiah to check on his injury and recovery before heading off for the meeting with the Italy-born youngster. 

 
The two senior players are expected to play a key role in convincing Balotelli to commit his international future to the country of his biological parents.

 
Rajevac was supposed to have met the youngster on Monday but Inter's preparation for their make-or-break game against Rubin Kazan on Wednesday let to the rescheduling of the crunch meeting.

 
Rajevac will also use the opportunity to tongue-lash Sulley Muntari over his perceived indiscipline when he is on national team duty.

 
Appiah will also be asked to reign in his wayward colleagues after Muntari, Michael Essien and Asamoah Gyan absented themselves from last month's friendly with Angola.

 
The Serbian manager will also travel to England by the weekend to watch German-born Kevin-Prince Boateng before a meeting over his joining of the Black Stars.

 
He will also visit injured Michael Essien to check on his recovery before expressing his disappointment of his recent no-show. 

 
Rajevac will travel to Switzerland next week to watch John Pantsil play against Samuel Inkoom in the Europa League game as Fulham take on Basel. 

 
His visit to Europe is expected to give him an idea of the players he has available for the Nations Cup and those expected to play a role at the World Cup.
