THE ANGEL Group of Companies, made up of Angel FM radio station, Angel Educational Complex, Angel Herbal Products, Goaso-based Nananom FM, and Angel Transport and Trade, has honoured 300 of its clients at an awards ceremony in Kumasi.

Among the honoured are Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE), Mr. Samuel Sarpong, the Ashanti Regional Police Command, Mr. Kwesi Jonah, a governance expert, Mr. Kingsley Adjei, a Lecturer of Sociology at the University of Cape Coast, Mr. Koku Anyidoho, Director of Communications at the Presidency, as well as Members of Parliament and radio and TV stations.

Dr. Kwaku Oteng, Chief Executive Officer of the Angel Group of Companies, attributed the success of his businesses to the support of his numerous clients, and expressed his profound gratitude to them.

He said the presentation of a plague and a citation was his small way to say thank you to all those who had supported him in diverse ways.

Oheneba Adusei Poku, the Akyempemhene of Kumasi, who represented the Asantehene at the ceremony, commended Dr. Kwaku Oteng for his entrepreneurial skills.

The Akyempemhene expressed appreciation for the honour done Otumfuo in recognition of his (Otumfuo's) contribution to the development of Asanteman, and Ghana as a whole, over the past decade.

The KMA Boss, speaking at the function, called on the media to be partners in the developmental agenda of the KMA and Asanteman, and called on practitioners to be circumspect in their reportage.
