First phase of National Identification registration ends

The first phase of the National Identification registration in the Greater Accra Region has ended. 

It covered Tema, Adenta and Ashaiman Municipalities. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana, the Public Relations Officer of the National Identification Authority, Bertha Dzeble said the first phase was characterized by distortion of money from the public because of the desire to register quick. 

The second phase of the registration will start on Monday 7 and end on 17th of this month.

It will cover areas, Madina, Abokobi, Taifa, Haatso Ofankor, Amasaman, Pokuase, Weija, Mallam and Gbawe.
