Old Students of St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary (Old Toms) on Thursday, donated sports equipment to the school as part of their contributions towards sports development in the school.
The items include two set of jerseys, gloves, hoses and football boots worth GHC 2,000.
Mr James Tchokpa, President of the Old Toms, made the presentation on behalf of the Association at a short ceremony at the school's premises in the presence of past and present students and members of staff.
He said the Old Toms were motivated by calls made by the school to the Association to support them with sporting equipment and expressed the hope that the donation will help boost the performance of the School in sporting competitions.
Mr Tchokpa appealed to the students to work hard to sustain the hard earned reputation of the School by ensuring excellence in both sporting and academic fields.
Mr Frank Bebli, Headmaster of the School expressed appreciation to the Association for their support.
He said the school's authorities will ensure that the equipment are put to good use.
The Headmaster appealed to the Old Toms to continue with their avowed aim of supporting the school.
